We have just received the notice of award for an NIH R01 grant in collaboration with. Dr. Ellen Terry at University of Florida. The grant is titled: The impact of structural racism and discrimination on chronic pain in Black or African American older adults: Biopsychosocial mechanisms.
Morgan presented a poster on his latest project, titled: Neurobiological Relationships between Language, Culture, and Pain among Spanish-English Bilingual Adults.
Theoni presented a poster on her latest project, titled: Psychological mechanisms underlying disparities in pain treatment decisions. The poster is an SEM analysis exploring the stereotypes that inform medical trainees’ pain assessment and oral analgesic decisions.
Dr. Losin Recently received a promotion to Associate Professor with tenure at Penn State University. Congratulations Liz!
